I have been slowly feeling the artistic juices starting to flow again without having to push through it, however I feel like I need to do something a bit different for awhile. I am going to finish The Catalyst and have been continuing my work on it, but I think I need to do somethings smaller and faster on the side. My focus is not as steady as it was. With so much going on it is hard to stay focused on things, much less something so large and time consuming. I am not abandoning doing my larger drawings. I couldn't do that because it is such a huge part of me. But I need to release pent up energy and the only way to do that is through something smaller, different, faster.

I don't know where this is going to lead me, or what is going to come from it. Who knows, maybe nothing will change and you will just find more abstract paintings. I don't know. But I do know that I have to do something different right now. It should be interesting at the very least, if for nothing more than myself.
