Okay.....here goes. :)

1.) I absolutely love symphonic metal music. You know, music that incorporates both classical sounds with heavy metal sounds, throw in some beautiful operatic voices alongside with growling and screaming, and I'm in musical heaven. This type of music is very deep, intense, and complicated. There's nothing simple about it. Red is a tamer version, but then I love After Forever and Tristania, too.

2.) I married my husband without ever dating him. And no, it wasn't an arranged marriage. :) We just knew and were engaged on the spot. 6 months later we were married. It must have worked because we've been married 12 years and it only gets better each year. I couldn't ask for a better suited man for me. We're very happy. (Altogether now: say AWWW!! :aww: )

3.) While I am a quiet person who doesn't go looking for trouble, I have always been a rebel in church. I had and still have no qualms telling the pastors or anyone else how I view my spiritual faith. I tend to get in trouble, but most of the time they look at me as if I've grown a second head. We are currently helping plant a new church and they love my views, so I'm not the only one with a second head anymore!

4.) I am not fond of gatherings of or for women. They talk too much. They remind me of clucking hens in a chicken roost. I avoid them at all costs. I have no problem talking to women one at a time, though. They don't cluck when they're singled out. :D

5.) I am a clean freak. Everything has it's place and everything should be in it's place. Even when I paint, I'm very clean about it. I don't use many paper towels at all. Perhaps 5 at the most when I'm oil painting. Environmentalists love me for that. :D

6.) I have night blindness. I'm only 30 years old but I can't drive at night. I just can't see enough to make sense of what is around me. It's very scary actually. Whenever I'm in a strange house, or we have just moved into a different house, I have to have some sort of light on at night until I get aquainted with my surroundings. Otherwise I get lost in the house and run into everything - walls, furniture, whatever. To top it all off, I have very poor vision as it is. I need to wear glasses at all times.

7.) I don't care to watch television or movies. I'd much rather read, and I read quite a lot. I do have a fews shows that I do like to watch, but we have Tivo, so we record them and watch them when we feel like it. That way we can zip through the annoying commercials. The shows I like the most are Bones and Numbers. My poor husband loves movies.....he wishes I liked them more, but they bore me.

8.) I enjoy intelligent conversation over coffee or tea. I believe in having fun while being intelligent, but please don't talk about stupid things. Especially over coffee or tea. It ruins the flavor. :D

Okay, for the poor saps who will be tagged by me!

:iconmilbisous: :iconvermeer: :iconmmustangg: :iconimaginee:

If you don't want to do this, don't worry about it. It's only for fun anyway, right? ;)

Take care! Now get back to art! :D

You may want to check out the band Therion. The double album Lemuria/Siruis B is quite incredible, if I do say so myself. :D :D

Don't you know what happens to little children who lie?
They go to Hell and get burned up.
On #3, I sometimes get into heated arguments with my dad who is also the head pastor of our church about Biblical stuff. Like that verse in Proverbs where it is encouraged to offer some alcoholic drink to a miserable friend so it will help help them not think too much about their problems, but my dad would think it's a sin! :XD: Messy!

On #4, I could not agree more!!!

"I like painting with graphite", LT - I'm available for commissions, send me a note if interested.
Thank you, David! I don't know what I'd do if something were to happen to him. It sounds corny, but it is so very true - we are soul mates. I highly doubt either one of us would remarry if one of us passed away.

Ah, yes! I know what you mean! My husband's family is that way. We always hear nothing but grief when his mother comes over and she finds our bottles of wine in the house. I also have to dress very conservatively around her or my poor husband doesn't hear the end of it. I wasn't raised that conservatively, but I still bucked the man-made rules. Like wearing shorts, T-shirts, and sandels to church instead of dressing up. Yeah, biblical arguments are where I get into the most trouble. I just don't see all of the hate and oppressive rules in the bible that a lot of religious people see.

I'm glad I'm not alone with #4! I always feel much more comfortable among co-ed groups, or even just male groups. But pleeeease don't put me in a large group of women! =P
